Murders in Figeac on France 3: How much does a TV movie starring Stefan Plaza and Samira Lachhab cost (tomorrow)?

France 3 tonight airs the TV movie “Meurtres à Figeac” with Stephen Plaza, the traitor to the M6, and Samira Lahab (“Tomorrow Belongs to Us”, “La Faute à Rousseau”). A new opus from the Detective Collection that will delight fans.

Რ About?

While a wealthy landowner from Figueac has just been found in the mummified Champollion Museum, Manon, a lieutenant in the Toulouse research department, is preparing to commemorate her husband, who died a year ago in the company of her beautiful family.

But reunion is not easy for those who left the village the day after the tragedy: except for his brother Olivier, as well as the police, it seems everyone is blaming him for his departure. Who is he with?

After the TV series L’homme de la situata M6 and the movie J’ai perdu Albert were released in 2018, Stéphane Plaza (house for sale, apartment or house search), the most famous real estate agent in France, is doing it again. The comedy detour thanks to France 3, which entrusted him with the role of Olivier, one of two investigators at Meurtres à Figeac.

Beside her, Samira Lachhab, well known to Tomorrow fans, belongs to us and La Faute à Rousseau, plays Manon, the second cop in the story, who is also Olivier’s fiancée.

Patrick Decamps (Tandem, Gloria), Julie-Ann Roth (Les Pennacs), Pierre Laplace (Double Je), Joey Bibring (Lake Killer) or even Lorette Nissen (School of Life) distribute the single, directed by Olivier Barr (Candy Renoir, Harseles).

Is it worth a look?

Murders on the Friuli Islands or Murders in Porcerol, along with Charlie Bruno, the successful detective collection of France 3 is back this evening with a new opus, this time taking us to the Occitan region, and more specifically to Figueac, Lot.

True to its recipe, which is a hit and which no longer needs to be approved, the channel continues its thriller tour in France and strictly adheres to the “murder …” specifications along with a duo of cops who oppose certain issues. The postcard options that allow you to escape and change the landscape, often with strange murders and deeply hidden secrets that only re-emerge. And often they are related to the motive of the perpetrator.

Viewers looking for original plots will certainly roll their eyes, but fans of the France 3 collection will be delighted. Especially since Meurtres à Figeac finally manages to climb to the top of the basket thanks to the world he explores in the background – Ancient Egypt – through the serial killings that take place in the city of Lot and his inhabitants. And it all has to do with Egyptian mythology and ancestral practice.

Olivier Barma’s TV movie, which enjoys a polished image, can also rely on the successful performances of Samira Lachhab, always very fair, and Stefan Plaza, who explores a rather unexpected record in the role of a silent policeman who is close to murder. And this person does not need much time to doubt that he did not say everything. Like most of the characters in this unit.

With a long list of potential suspects, Meurtres à Figeac also manages to fully awaken our curiosity and is therefore recommended. And very bad if all this lacks a bit of originality and if the conclusion of the investigation is somewhat disappointing.
