Isabella Aglio, daughter of the bassist PorridgeFrom Rigor of indignation, shared a video on his Instagram showing his father making the motion of giving him a kiss. He was shot in the head in the city of Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, on September 3, and has since been in the intensive care unit of a hospital, after undergoing surgery.
“Thank you, my Lord! Exactly three months ago I experienced the worst day of my entire life. Today I receive the most beautiful gift of all!”, he writes. In her video, Isabella brings her face closer to her father’s and asks for a kiss. Porridge then makes the move to kiss her. “Dad, give me another kiss! I can’t believe it! Give me another! I love you!”, she said excitedly, before “crying with happiness”.
In the comments, the bassist received support from colleagues from The Noite, such as Danilo Gentili and Murilo Couto, and from names in music. Dinho Ouro Preto commented: “Porridge, come on, you will make it! You will recover, my dear friend. I wish I was there to hug you.”
Last Thursday, the 30th, Isabella shared images of her father in hospital for the first time after the accident. She revealed that she was being treated for a lung infection.
