Deadpool 3: New photos herald a surprise return!

Filming on Deadpool 3 has resumed and new photos have been revealed. Thus, we discover the existence of a mutant that is well known to fans.

In these visuals, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine battle Sabretooth in a yellow suit, and it’s Tyler Maine, who already played the role in Bryan Singer’s X-Men movie released in 2000, who plays the character once again.

This anti-hero is one of Wolverine’s first enemies, and if the photos revealed above are to be believed, the latter will only have a brief role. Just like in the comics, Sabretooth had his head cut off by Wolverine…but inside “X-Men End, Vol. 2”“, we found out that it was just a clone and that the real Sabretot is still alive.

It is not yet known if there will be another iteration of the character. But rumors have announced the return of Liev Schreiber, who played Sabretun in Gavin Hood’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In the 2009 film, he is none other than Wolverine’s half-brother. Therefore, it is possible that the American actor will be there and reunite with Hugh Jackman.

Thanks to Disney’s acquisition of Fox’s catalog, Deadpool 3 will bring back a number of heroes from previous feature films and should create a connection between the X-Men and the Marvel Universe, as evidenced by The Marvels’ post-credits scene.

X-23 from “Logan” in “Deadpool 3”?

But there might be another mutant out there. According to Daniel Richtman from PatreonDefne Keene, who plays the young mutant X-23 who is protected by Wolverine in James Mangold’s Logan, has entered talks to appear in the feature film.

X-23 is “Specimen #23” created from Wolverine’s DNA by the Weapon X organization. Therefore, the young girl is a female clone of Logan.

Directed by Sean Levy and scheduled to hit our theaters on July 24, 2024, Deadpool 3 It stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corinne, Matthew McFadden, Louis Tan, Morena Baccarin, Karan Son and Jennifer Garner reprising her role as Elektra. Dogpool will also be there.

Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier are also said to be reprising their roles. But nothing has been confirmed yet.
