If you are a fan of Virginie Efira and romantic comedies, then Love is Better for Two is for you! Because Dominic Farrugia’s film, which stars an actress who was almost Miss France in addition to giving the Belgian star her first major film role, ticks all of the genre’s boxes. It’s fun, rhythmic and full of charm, perfect for a TV night!
Released in cinemas in 2010, Love is Better for Two tells the story of Michele (Clovis Kornilak) who dreams of meeting the perfect chance, as experienced by her parents and grandparents, while Vincent (Manu Payet) literally uses the proverb that says that men They have a penis instead of a brain. Childhood friends with diametrically opposed views on women, they discover the limits of their reasoning when they come in contact with Angel (Virgin Efira) and Nathalie (Aneliza Hesme).
At first, Love is Better for Two was a kind of parody of romantic movies. Only later, when the story was being rewritten, did directors Dominique Farrugia and Arnaud Lemore decide to take a more direct side with a good dose of humor.
Dominique Farrugia and Arnaud Lemour, who were inspired by Anglo-Saxon romantic comedies, therefore chose Virgin to play the character of Ephra Angel. Why a Belgian actor? Because they wanted a kind of Cameron Diaz to play this woman who was very attractive and very funny at the same time.
