It’s one of the last sensual sagas to hit Netflix and it’s coming to an end soon. Next, À Travers Ma Fenêtre is a coming-of-age romance story adapted from Ariana Godoy’s fiction that was successful on Wattpad. .
It was enough for a film adaptation to see the light of day in 2022 with the first film starring Julio Peña (soon to be seen in Berlin in the La Casa de Papel spin-off) and Clara Galle.
Through My Window tells the story of how Raquel, who is in love with her neighbor Ares, eventually discovers that her feelings are reciprocated. But their budding, tumultuous and complicated relationship collides with the young man’s very rich family, who don’t see their story too well.
The film seduced Netflix subscribers with its intense love story and sex scenes, very subtle and sometimes awkward or shocking. And the sequel, Through My Window: Love as a Horizon, has apparently seen the light of day. Fans shocked by the ending were still there to find Raquel and Ares, but also their friends, more innocent than the first in this second feature.
And good news, a third film, Through My Window: Eyes to Eyes, will conclude the saga. A chance to know the end of Rachel and Ares’ complicated and tortured love story.
