Friday, December 8, it all starts here…
Thibaut comes out of the coma
Despite the palpable awkwardness between them, Jasmine and Jimmy didn’t dare talk about the latter’s kiss attempt. They prefer to concentrate on the investigation and the fact that Berenia was unable to turn off the alarm on the stove in the atelier on her own, especially under the influence of alcohol.
According to Jim, the alarm on these types of ovens is on the back. Jasmine is about to go check on him. As Jimmy prepares to take her out, a young woman stops him and reminds him that it is too risky because the police are looking for him. Jim admits that he was disappointed that he could not act to help his brother. Jasmine replies that she is very involved in their investigation, but from afar. He places his hands on her shoulders to comfort her before acknowledging her gesture and leaving the area.
Jasmine goes to the workshop with Kelly. Both have trouble moving the stove, which turns out to be too heavy, to locate the alarm, which is actually located in the back. Jasmine and Kelly quickly deduce that Berenia couldn’t deactivate it alone. Jasmine then wonders what could have caused such an explosion. Generally, in case of a technical problem, only the furnace window explodes. Kelly remembers that only wax paper will completely blow up the oven – which is why they don’t have it at the institute. But Jasmine still remembers seeing a roll of wax paper in Berenice’s bag. Given that Thibaut, who met her that evening, hastily put things in it, there’s no telling that the scroll really belongs to Berenice.
Meanwhile, Mark dutifully goes to Jasmine’s house to see Jimmy and tell him that the doctors are in the process of bringing Thibaut out of his coma. He also takes the opportunity to offer a way out of his situation: after contacting a lawyer, he claims that he can get fired for desertion. Primarily because Jim didn’t bring his army gear. Then because his reasons can be considered mitigating circumstances. When he learns that Jasmine has repeated her confidence in her father, Jimmy is furious. He categorically refuses to go to the police.
When Jasmine returns home, Jim scolds her for telling her father everything about her mother. Jasmine replies that she did it to help him. Proof of this is that Leroy’s lawyer was able to get him out of trouble. So he encourages Jim to trust people who genuinely want to help him. The young man softens, then informs Jasmine that Thibault is coming out of his coma. Delighted, Jasmine jumps on Jimmy’s neck before turning away in embarrassment. The two focus again on the investigation, hoping that Thibaut will have memories of what happened before the explosion.
At the institute, Berenia finds Constance and Tessier after being released by the police. In fact, the police realized that he was not able to turn off the stove alarm on his own, especially when he was drunk. As for Constance’s perjury, Berenia simply said she had the wrong day. Given that Thibault has come out of his coma, Teissier assumes that Jasmine will not lie to his wife.
At the hospital, Marc and Jasmine go to Thibaut’s bedside, who is now awake. The latter is surprised by the absence of his brother by their side. Mark and Jasmine explain to him that Jimmy has to go into hiding because he is guilty of desertion. Thibaut is also surprised to learn that Jasmin has covered her brother despite all the dirt the latter has done to them, and that they are getting along better.
A little later, Jasmine takes advantage of being alone with Thibaut to tell him about her investigation. She excuses Berenica while questioning her lover about the things she put in the latter’s bag before taking her out of the workshop. He asks her if she remembers there being a roll of wax paper that might have caused the explosion. Thibaut’s memories are hazy. However, the young man remembers being in the workshop of Thomas Lacroix that evening…
Judy can survive without alcohol
At the park, Anais approaches Jude to ask him to offer a meal at Double A for lunch service. The young man gladly accepts. Regardless of motivation, the young man confides in David his fear of not settling down. David reminds her that she can always rely on their micro-dosing technique to gain confidence.
Later, in the kitchen, Judy gives Anais a taste of her dish. He likes it a lot but can’t comment. However, Judas does not give up and defends his dish as it is with valid arguments. Seeing Anais come back to attack again, Judah breaks it off and asks her to trust him. Witnessing the scene, David looked at Judah with a knowing look.
At the end of the service, Anais congratulates Jude on his dish, which received nothing but good feedback from the customers. She apologizes for causing so much trouble and admits that she did well to put him in his place. Out of trouble, he will put his dish on the Double A menu. David then congratulates his friend, who admits that he didn’t need to micro-dose. He was just carried by the adrenaline of the moment. Judy emphasizes that confidence is mostly in the mind, not in the alcohol. So he advises David to stop the micro-dosing experiment there. he takes
With his swamp roommate, David cooks beef bourguignon for everyone. Anais and Salome can’t wait to taste his dish. Anais nonchalantly declares that she still leads David to double-A. Realizing that she just hinted at the utensil that Hippolyte du Chesnay used to hit David, Anais apologizes. David claims that he is not at all traumatized by this speech. But gingerly, he reaches for a bottle of alcohol to take a big gulp.
Hortense and Stanislas are closer
At Double A, Hortense co-leads a first-year classroom with Stanislaus to illustrate to students the complementarity of the classroom and the kitchen. He uses the crustacean bird they prepared for his class to demonstrate cutting in class. At the end of the course, Stanislas thanks him for his initiative, which he considers truly brilliant.
Later, Hortense goes to Double A to observe the service. He takes the opportunity to talk to Laetitia and confides in her that he eventually hopes to be on friendly terms with Stanislaus. However, Laetitia continues to describe him as someone who is not really lovable. At the same time, Stanislaus notices that his student is talking to Hortense. He interrupts their discussion by calling Laetitia to order.
After the service, Hortense apologizes for distracting Laetitia from Stanislaus. The latter believes that Hortense has nothing to do with it and that it is up to Laetitia to remain professional at all costs. He also admits that it is difficult for him to understand. Hortense then gives him an explanation based on astrology. He realizes that Stanislas also knows something about it.
They continue their conversation in the park and try to become their colleagues’ astrological signs. Since everything is going well, Stanislaus suggests that Hortense move on to dating. He gladly accepts. When Mehdi joins them, Hortense takes care of the introductions. Stanislas leaves them in love. Mehdi congratulates his wife on achieving her goal.
