In conversation with Rolling Stone Brasil, the actor, who plays the kidnapper Nonato in the new film, spoke about the intense process of filming the film

In the production, which is based on an impressive real event from 1988, Peace interprets Nonatowho hijacks a plane in mid-air to bring it down over the Planalto Palace and kill the then president of the country, José Sarney. A Rolling Stone Brazil interviewed the film’s cast and the actor revealed that, due to the several stressful scenes he had to do, he ended up in the hospital:
“There was a day when I woke up and my body [estava] shivering. On the last day, I ended up in the hospital. The crowd was getting ready to celebrate and I went to the hospital”said Paz. “I think there’s no way to fake madness, tension, and stay there on the surface. I have to feel it, my body has to vibrate with it.”
According to the actor, the most intense scenes between his character and that of Danilo Grangheia (Brotherhood), who played the commander Murilo, were recorded in the last week of filming the film. Spending twelve hours a day with your colleague, at a certain point, Peace he saw reality become confused with fiction and felt genuine anger towards his colleague:
“There was a day when the performance of Danilo it made me angry. “It was a very unusual meeting of things that we had studied, had prepared, with things that also came up during this crazy week of a plane spinning there and us inside it”added Grangheia.
