MCU Actor Chris Evans Compared Experiences Like Captain America and Human Torch
Chris Evans did not rule out the possibility of returning to the role of Human Torch. Actor lived character in Fantastic Four (2005) – before the formation of the MCU – in addition to the captain America in various productions.
When comparing the two experiences in an interview with the MTV (via Omelet), Evans admitted that he prefers to play the hero of the Quartet to the member of Avengers. According to him, the character had little prominence.
“It would be easier for me to convince myself of that than for me to come back as Cap. Cap is so precious to me, I wouldn’t want to mess up what a beautiful experience that was,” he argued about his legacy. Steve Rodgers on the big screen.
“O Human Torch, don’t feel like he’s had his turn. It was before Marvel meet. And I love that role so, who knows,” she completed cryptically.
After the 2005 film, Fantastic Four suffered a reboot and won a new film in 2015. Production was not well received by the public and critics, and reached only 9% of approval in the aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
