It’s (almost) the end of Stranger Things. Netflix’s most iconic series will say goodbye to the public; Of course, the show’s end isn’t imminent yet, as the fifth and final season won’t air on the platform until 2025.
Stranger Things, which started in 2015, is a series that follows the adventures of a group of children in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Faced with a series of paranormal events and the disappearance of one of their own, they meet Elven, a young girl with supernatural powers…
Generally, several years separate the broadcast of the two seasons. Despite the consistency issues caused by the growing cast, the series remains one of Netflix’s most popular series. But that success didn’t stop creators Matt and Ross Duffer from ending the program at the end of Season 5, honoring their original vision for the story.
Filming starts in a few weeks
Filming on the final season was supposed to begin in May of last year, but production was ultimately delayed due to a cast and writer’s strike that paralyzed Hollywood. But according to the American site DeadlineWe won’t have to wait long to finally start filming.
Our colleagues suggest that filming for season 5 will begin in the first week of January, probably on January 5 or 8 (the final date does not seem to be set yet).
The show’s cast will be on location in Atlanta a few days before filming to rehearse together and do a traditional general script reading with the entire team.
