Diamond Films Brasil has released the national trailer for “Anatomy of a Fall”, the most awarded European film of the year.
Winner of the Cannes Film Festival and the European Film Awards (the European Oscar), the legal drama and thriller by French director Justine Triet (“Sibyl”) follows the trial of a woman suspected of having killed her husband. The man was found bloodied on the ice after falling from an upper floor of the family home and the only witness to what happened is the couple’s blind son, who continues to change his version of events.
The main role is played by German Sandra Hüller (“Toni Erdmann”), also winner of the European Awards in the Best Actress of the Year category and nominated this Monday (12/12) for the Golden Globe.
The debut in Brazil will only take place on February 22nd.
