Netflix: Ryan Reynolds in Ocean’s Eleven-style heist comedy

After what has been described as an intense 7-figure bidding war against seven major rivals, Deadline announces that Netflix has won the rights to the (yet-untitled) heist comedy starring Ryan Reynolds.

The project comes from X-Men producer Simon Kinberg, who is also working with Ryan Reynolds on the highly anticipated Deadpool 3.

All details about the plot and characters are still under wraps, but the project will be the same as Ocean’s Eleven. It is described as a completely original idea”It is taking place in the international arenaAnd should feature a cast that has yet to be revealed.

The film will be written by Dana Fox, known for his work on Cruella and The Secret of the Lost City.

The project also marks Ryan Reynolds’ new collaboration with Netflix, after starring in 6 Underground, Adam Through Time, and Red Notice. Also keep in mind that the latter is Netflix’s biggest hit to date with 454,200,000 views and a total of 230,900,000.

Currently, another new project from Reynolds, titled Calamity Hustle, is the subject of competition between Amazon MGM Studios, Warner Bros. And Netflix, among others. Channing Tatum will also appear.
