‘Given myself a war wound’: Cat’s Eye stars mistreated on set of next series of TF1 events

It’s not easy being a master thief. Two actresses Camille Lou and Claire Romain learned this the hard way through the eyes of a cat, which began filming in Paris and the Paris region on October 19.

We remind you that Tsukasa Hōjō’s famous manga and anime of the same name, which will be adapted by the upcoming TF1 series, tells the story of three sisters, Tamara, Alexia and Cilia, who run a cafe together. At least during the day. Because at night, the three sisters become powerful thieves, trying to recover the works that belonged to their father, a German artist who disappeared without a trace during the Second World War. Tamara, Alexia and Silia hope to find him by collecting his entire collection.

In the sequel presented to TF1, in which Camille Lou, Claire Romain and Constance Labe play the three Shamad sisters, the latter meet again after several years apart. At the same time, the work of their father, who disappeared under strange circumstances, reappears, which helps to reunite the three thieves.

Six weeks of training for three actors before filming

Such a story, reminiscent of the modern retelling of Lupine recently offered by Netflix, inevitably involves particularly physical scenes of chases or stunts. Scenes that require special preparation.

“We taught the three actors the technique of abalone. They also know how to tie knots, run, jump, roll and even fight. We try to use them as much as possible.”explains that tele-vacationAlexandre Couderlier, physical stunt adjuster responsible for the safety of the team Couderlier trained Camille Lu, Claire Romain and Constance Labbe for six weeks.

“I’m in tears, but it’s great to think I’ve climbed the Iron Lady!”

Preparation that limits risks but does not prevent accidents. While filming a scene on the roof of the Hôtel de la Monnaie (5th arrondissement of Paris), Camille Lu injured her knee. “I want to do as much as possible. I went too far on the roof there, I got a war wound. I could have pulled teeth, but luckily I was well prepared.”explains Camille Lu, also at Télé-Loisirs.

Claire Romain was also injured during filming, this time on the Eiffel Tower. “We were very cold that day, it was raining and it was very windy. I slipped a bit in the first practice because it was wet, then I pulled back at the start of the race. But it’s great to think I made it. The Iron Lady!”Confides to Télé-Loisirs, it all begins here, the actress discovered here.

Several scenes at the Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles are also planned. It’s enough to surprise Cat’s Eyes fans, but also to see the three actresses find themselves in dangerous situations.

No broadcast date has yet been announced, but Cat’s Eyes is expected to air on TF1 in the fall of 2024, before receiving an international broadcast on Amazon Prime Video before the end of the year.
