For his new adventure, Haki alias Joachim, our clumsy and cunning policeman, will have to thwart the plans of a rogue promoter: Count Neville. Together with his friends, he infiltrates the Count’s castle, but he also has to prepare his marriage with Julia, from whom he hid his mission.

Nothing goes as planned and Hakeem and his gang of nickel-plated legs, overwhelmed, go from disaster to disaster. He will then enter a mad race to succeed in his mission and save his relationship.

Comedian D’JalFrank Cimieri, famous for his sketch on The Portuguese, will again direct. The two have signed on to write the script for this second film, titled Operation Portugal 2: Castle Life. Grégoire Bonnet, well known to fans of Scènes de houses on the M6, is casting.

Operation Portugal’s first opus follows 35-year-old Hakim, a friendly neighborhood cop of Moroccan descent. He must infiltrate Portuguese society for investigative purposes. But can you become Portuguese in three days?

This first feature film was inspired by the greatest success of this comedian from the Jamel Comedy Club, the sketch Le Portugais, a sequence that was particularly noted thanks to Marrakech du laughter. The video of this sketch (see 3 min.58 in the video above) has 20 million views on YouTube.
