According to the parents’ account, a strong tornado hit the house where they lived and took away the cradle with the baby inside.
A four-month-old baby was found alive in a tree after a tornado swept through Tennessee, US. “By the Grace of God”said his parents, relieved to find the little one. Sidney Moore, The 22-year-old told the BBC that with the storm that hit the region, the roof of his house was torn off. The father of the boy, whose name is Gentleman, he ran to protect the baby, but ended up being carried away by the tornado as he threw himself into the crib.
While this was happening, the hand grabbed the one-year-old son, Princeton. “Something in me told me to run and jump on my son.”Moore said. “Literally the moment I jumped on it, the walls came down.”
After the tornado passed, Moore managed to escape the rubble with his eldest son and they soon went out, desperate, to search for the child. After much searching and, of course, desperation, they found the child alive in a tree. According to the mother, “it looked like the shape of a cradle where the Lord was protected”.
Moore remembers the feeling of desperation during the searches, in torrential rain: “I thought he was dead”, said the mother. “I was sure he was dead and we wouldn’t find him.”
“But he is here, and that is by the grace of God,” she concluded, relieved. The child, his one-year-old brother and his parents suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
