An Annabelle doll from the Conjuring saga, hidden in an ocean abyss, a musical octopus from the original comics, a replica jaw reference or even an HP Lovecraft piece placed on a coffee table…
Like many superhero feature films (whether produced by Marvel or DC Studios), Aquaman contains an incredible amount of small hidden details. While James Wan’s film airs on TF1 tonight, let’s take a step back and focus today on other elements of the film, entirely independent directors’ wills, but still capable of attracting attention. The attention of the most attentive and chosen. spectators.
Often listed by our friends Michelle and Michele on the show Faux Raccord, these more or less significant errors do not spare the film at all. Even in a budget blockbuster like Aquaman, you can sometimes run into huge mistakes.
To catch the movie’s biggest mistake, I recommend pressing the pause button on your remote control at 6 minutes and 11 seconds into the scene where the Atlantean soldiers storm Arthur Curry’s house to find the latter’s mother, Atlana. (played by Nicole Kidman).
Two seconds before the wall explodes, watch the young actor playing the future Aquaman, who is about two years old at the time, sitting on his mother’s lap. As you can see, he has quite short, curly hair (see above).

Now put the movie back in the game, play it for 5 seconds, and press the “Pause” button again at 6 minutes 17. You will see that the same young Arthur Carr kid is no longer playing at all: he now has much longer hair. Very little wavy (see above).
Of course, it’s very common at this age to use multiple actors to play the same character, but let’s face it, in this particular case, the learning isn’t quite the same.
