The president of Caixa Econômica Federal, Carlos Vieira, said on Sunday (17) that the public bank will reduce the time needed to publish parliamentary amendments from 350 to 90 days. He was referring to a bill recently passed by Congress and said not to make distinctions when MPs from different parties meet.
“Caixa is the bank chosen by parliamentarians to present their amendments, so we must respect the distribution of resources of these parliamentarians,” he said in an interview with the program Free channel from the BandNewsTV. “We welcome any legislator as a Republican,” she added.
The bank president also praised the legislature’s contribution to the passage of important economic agendas in recent years and cited the passage of tax reform as an example.
