‘He’s James Cameron on YouTube’: Squeezie documentary revealed in tantalizing trailer

“You know Squeez, the most popular videographer in France with over 18 million subscribers on YouTube. But do you know Lucas? For 10 years, his friend and director Theodore Bonnet filmed him on all his adventures, both behind the scenes of his sudden and dazzling rise.

That’s the initial promise of Merci Internet, a new Prime Video product that launches on January 19. Like Orelsan’s Show This To No One, this docu-series takes us inside the YouTuber’s intimate relationship, tracing his career almost from the beginning.

The trailer released by Prime Video this weekend gives us a good preview. Theodore Bonnet called out a number of personalities and people close to Skuzzi, including the duo Mcfly & Carlito, Lena Situations, Hugo Décrypte and other faces that we regularly see in his videos.

The man with 18 million YouTube subscribers, who has since tried his hand at music and film, isn’t his first collaboration with the streaming platform. In 2021, he participated in the first season of the show Celebrity Hunt, Giant Hunt, in a duet with YouTuber Seb la Frite.

There’s no doubt that Merci Internet will be a big hit with Prime Video next school year.
