Kane Robinson, or Kano to rap fans, best known for his role as Sally on Top Boy, stars in this dystopian thriller called The Kitchen. This is the first feature from Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), who teams up with Kibwe Tavares to write and direct this thrilling film.
In the near future, each city has its own “kitchen”, where the poorest residents are isolated due to the lack of social housing, which has been taken away by the rich and other crooked politicians.
The gap between the rich and the poor in London has reached its limit, and the extreme rebellion of an infinite number of the population will lead to a violent civil war.
Against this background of social injustice, father and son try to overcome as much as possible… The kitchen is one of the last places for London’s most vulnerable residents, who refuse to give up their community and this institution.
