Not yet released, this movie with Brad Pitt and George Clooney may already have a sequel

Sixteen years after Ethan Cohen’s Burn After Reading, George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunited for the thriller Wolfs, directed by John Watts, including Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film, shot in New York in the winter of 2023, tells the story of how two lone wolves find themselves on a mission.

Although the project is still in post-production, a sequel is already in the works, according to George Clooney himself. “We are already talking about a sequel to this movie that I did with Brad Pitt and John Watts. It was a great experience and John Watts is an incredibly talented guy, funny and passionate about what he does“, he explains Deadline.

He follows: “We had a blast and saw results. It’s a film that exceeded our expectations and it was great to work with Brad again. We had a lot of fun.”

It’s usually pretty rare in Hollywood to release a sequel without expecting the figures of the first movie, especially when it’s not a world-famous franchise. The Wolves team seems to be confident in the quality of the film and the popularity of the Clooney-Pitt duo should also guarantee a huge success at the box office.

Wolfs will only be released in theaters for now before being available on the Apple TV+ streaming platform like Ridley Scott’s Napoleon.

The film does not have a release date yet, but is expected to be released in 2024.
