Liam Neeson immediately won over Liam Neeson when he read the script without identity. “For me, it’s the story above all else, and it was really fascinating.”– says the actor. “I usually do a test: if I can get to page 50 of a script without a coffee break, that’s a good sign. It was so great I read it in a row.”
In order to fulfill his role as a troubled hero who was stripped of his identity overnight, Liam Neeson recalled an important episode from his childhood. “I completely identified with what Martin was going through. I was an avid boxer when I was younger and there were times when I would feel anxious after a fight.”he says.
“I always remember that feeling when he doesn’t remember anything, even for a brief second. It’s a really strange experience and I was able to draw inspiration from him for this role.”
