Six years after La Boum 2, director Claude Pinot reunites with Sophie Marceau for L’Etudiante. A delicious romantic comedy, in which the actor plays a student, Valentine, who is preparing for the aggregation of literature and has no time to think about love.

One evening, Valentine meets Eduard, a night musician, who is attracted to her. A difficult schedule of reconciliation ends with the separation of the couple. But Valentine is now very much in love, and on the day of Aggreg, under the guise of a presentation about Moliere, she sends him a message of love.
A romantic comedy full of charm, L’Etudiante, which can almost be seen as the third part of La Boum, is certainly a little kitsch and its story is sometimes “telephoned”, but it is hard to resist this fun, light, sensitive film. And melancholy that often sounds.
L’Etudiante is clearly his star duet, consisting of Sophie Marceau and Vincent Lyndon, who gets his first starring role there. The chemistry between these two is obvious and they are sure to have a delicious time.
And finally, how can we not mention the unforgettable hit of this romantic comedy: You call it love, created by the great Vladimir Cosma and performed by Caroline Krueger? Once you get it in your head, this song will never let you go!
Almost 1.6 million French viewers went to see L’Etudiante in theaters. A great success that confirmed the growing popularity of Sophie Marceau in the general public.
