Paramount + has released a collection of posters and a teaser for “Monster High: The Movie,” a Nickelodeon children’s production inspired by Mattel’s fashion doll franchise. The video offers a look at the characters and offers a contrast between the world of monsters and the human world.

“Monster High” has already won numerous animated shorts, TV specials and DVDs since the release of the first dolls in 2010. But “Monster High: The Movie” is the first version with real actors.

The film will follow Clawdeen Wolf and her friends on their first day at Monster High, as a secret plan threatens the school’s future, leading young people to come together and embrace their monstrous sides to save the institution.

The story was devised by Greg Erb (“The Princess and the Frog”) and scripted by brothers Matt and Billy Eddy (from “Teen Beach 2”). Directed by Todd Holland (“Video Game Genius”), the cast includes newcomer Miia Harris as Clawdeen Wolf, Nayah Damasen (“Grey’s Anatomy”) as Draculaura, Case Walker (“The Other Two”) as by Deuce, Ceci Balagot (“Girl Meets World”) as Frankie, Justin Derickson (“The Midnight Club”) as Heath, Jy Prishkulnik (“The Birch”) as Cleo, Marci T. House (“Day of the Dead”) “) as Bloodgood, Lina Lecompte (” Bullet Proof “) as Laguna and Kyle Selig (” Welcome to Flatch “) as Komos.

The first will take place in the North American autumn (our spring).
