Directed and written by Emerald Fennell, Saltburn doesn’t really fit into the Christmas spirit. However, since its release in the United States and France on Prime Video, this thriller continues to have internet users talking. The story follows Oliver (Barry Keoghan), a shy student at Oxford University, who falls under the spell of the richest and most popular student, Felix (Jacob Ellord). When the latter invites him to spend the summer at the family home in Saltburn, things go wrong.

In the two hours of the film, the director combines several eye-catching scenarios that leave no one indifferent. Among them, there is a particularly delusional ending in which Barry Keoghan lets loose – and that goes without saying. In this famous sequence, Felix masturbates in his bathroom, unaware that Oliver is secretly watching him. A few seconds later, Felix leaves the room and Oliver goes down the stairs to turn on the water and run out.

Actor Jacob Ellord says that when he discovered the scene in the script, he couldn’t wait to see it:You don’t see this kind of thing in ordinary movies.To create the sound of this scene where Oliver is being swallowed and sucked from inside the bathtub, the film crew recorded the sound of the octopus in the oil to create an eerie sound.
