More than 40 creature makeups were created for the first part of Rebel Moon. With this space opera, Zack Snyder signs off on his passion project – more than 30 years in development. For this film, Zack Snyder was surrounded by Justin Raleigh, who created the film’s make-up effects. Among the many creatures, one needed more work than the others: the spider-alien Harmada, who resides on the planet Daggu. This creature only appears in one scene of Rebel Moon and manages to steal the show – it might be the best thing about the movie.
Behind this character, we find Jenna Malone, who spent hours transforming herself.
