Twelve Sports BR released an official statement denying a meeting between Verdão and the Santos player to present a proposal




Speculation that Marcos Leonardo would leave Santos for Palmeiras has created unease. Dodici Sports BR, the company in charge of managing the player’s contracts, denied in an official statement this Saturday (30th) that there had been a meeting between the clubs to organize the transfer.

Through the official social network, Dodici Sports BR responded and denied the news. According to company representatives, however, there was no meeting between the athlete and any representative of the Alviverde club. Dodici also reiterated the player’s commitment to the Vila Belmiro club until 2026.

News released by the Uol website, according to which the Palmeiras board met the player on Friday (29th). The club’s representatives would present a sporting project for next season.

Striker Marcos Leonardo also reportedly received an offer from a Tunisian club. According to the press office, the player would have been surprised by an alleged proposal from Sfaxien, from Tunisia. The representatives, however, are happy to have never negotiated with this club.

The columnist didn’t even contact us to verify the information. Marcos Leonardo is a Santos player and has a contract with the club until the end of 2026.

This year, for Santos, Marcos Leonardo has scored 21 goals in 49 games. With the relegation to Serie B of the Brazilian championship, the club is forced to deal with some players, and the striker himself could be one to leave Vila.
