Chiara Ferragni’s shop is vandalized in Italy

The influencer was defined as a “delinquent” and “fraudster”

One of influencer Chiara Ferragni’s shops, at the center of an unfair business practices scandal, was vandalized during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Rome.

The facade of the entrepreneur’s boutique located in via del Babuino, in the Italian capital, was the target of offensive writings, such as “delinquent” and “fraudster”.

Photos and videos of the Ferragni shop targeted by the attack have gone viral on social media in the last few hours.

The Ferragni boutique located in Rome was inaugurated in November in the presence of several celebrities, such as Francesca Fagnani and Chanel Totti, but recorded few product sales during the Christmas period.

Shortly before the venue was vandalized, Ferragni had reappeared on social media in a New Year’s video posted by her husband, the Italian rapper Fedez.

The Italian was fined for promoting a pandoro for charity purposes. It refers to a complaint filed against the campaign for a product line called “Pandoro Pink Christmas” and associated with the influencer in late 2022.

The advertising message suggested that the funds raised from the sale of the Christmas cake would be donated to the Regina Margherita Hospital in Turin. However, the country’s antitrust body found that, in fact, the donation had already been made by one of Ferragni’s companies months before the campaign.
