The artist’s family opened an account on a crowdfunding website to pay for teeth reconstruction, medical expenses, therapy, care for their eight-month-old son, grocery shopping and financial support while she is unable to work. This Wednesday, 3rd, Carrie wrote in Instagram story:

So many feelings this morning. I’m feeling the love, support and prayers, but to be honest, I’m hurting physically and mentally. The only thing I can think about is my son. I hate that he has to see me in pain and looking like this. I’m grateful to my family for keeping him entertained and taking care of him. I don’t even recognize myself anymore. I am mentally confused, but turning to God during this period, while I feel pain from the oxygen machine that was in my throat, the surgery, the bruises on my head and the rest. I do not even know where to begin with. From a person who barely took medication, to someone who needs so many… I’m in pain. I know God will heal me, but to be honest, everything hurts. Thank you for your prayers and support. I can’t wait to have teeth again and other sensations in my body.
