Animation, which celebrates 100 years of Disney, tells the story of Asha, a girl with desires so powerful that she manages to pluck a star from the sky
Wish: The Power of WishesDisney’s new animation, which celebrates the company’s 100 years of existence, will be shown in Brazilian cinemas from this Thursday, January 4th, almost two months late in relation to its release in the United States and the world out.
In the new, Asha (Ariana DeBose, Love sublime love) lives in the magical world of Rosas, commanded by the beloved Magnificent King (Chris Pine, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Rebels), who is responsible for caring for and eventually fulfilling the desires in the hearts of each inhabitant.
However, when applying for a position as a royal assistant, the girl discovers that, in fact, the king has less than noble plans for the people and fears for the population of Rosas. Trying to save the enchanted kingdom, Asha makes a wish so powerful that it ends up pulling a star from the sky, which gives the girl hope that everything can work out after all. Watch the trailer:
