Saltburn: Rich people on TikTok are trying to recreate the ending of Amazon’s movie, and it’s embarrassing

In the final moments of Emerald Fennell’s film, there is a real frenzy on social networks, Oliver – the character played by Barry Keoghan – walks completely naked through the corridors of the large residence to the beat of the hit. The only problem is that some people seem to miss Saltburn’s message entirely. The scene in the film is enjoyable because it is the whole system – of the privileged caste – that is being undermined. The weakest dominates the strong. On TikTok, subscribers walk into their parents’ mansions and show off their wealth – the exact opposite of a feature film.
