After going through a troubled childhood, Yoo Hye Jung developed a secretive personality and also became a troubled girl at school, but her trajectory changes when she meets teacher Hong Ji Hong (Kim Rae Won).
Hong sees in the student the great potential and intelligence he possesses behind the bully facade. Therefore, Hye Jung starts working in a neurosurgery residency in a large hospital. With her are two other residents: Jung Yoon Do (Yoon Kyun Sang) and Jin Seo Woo (Lee Sung Kyung).
