The head of the executive of Minas Gerais will be one of the few opponents in an act for democracy wanted by President Lula’s government
The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeo Zema (New), will be present on Monday 8th at the event celebrating one year of the anti-democratic attacks against the headquarters of Três Poderes, in Brasilia. The head of the Executive of Minas Gerais had until then doubted the participation in the act carried out by the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

This Monday’s act at National Congress it should have around 500 guests. The president of Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), the president of Federal Supreme Court (STF), Luis Roberto Barrosoand the vice president Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) will speak at the ceremony.
The president of Room, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), was foreseen for the act. However, according to the MP’s advisors, he had to cancel his participation due to family health problems and remain in Alagoas.
