Airing since 1999, the One Piece anime is an adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s manga of the same name (106 volumes available from GlĂ©nat). The series tells the story of Monkey D. The story of Luffy, a pirate with elastic powers, who sets out to sea at the head of the Sea Hat’s crew to seize the famous Gol D. Roger’s Secret Treasure.
One Piece, previously offered in simulcast on specialty platforms ADN and Crunchyroll, will also be streamed weekly on Netflix. With this arrival, the streaming service continues to expand its catalog of Japanese animation, which mainly consists of the full Ghibli, but also many successful series such as Naruto, Hunter x Hunter and Demon Slayer.
