Echo: Post-credits scene in new Marvel series?

The new Marvel Echo series is coming to Disney+ in an all-original format. While the platform used to air its productions one episode per week, five episodes of this new superhero program are available simultaneously.

So MCU fans will be spoiled for choice Binger In one step, the adventures of Maya Lopez, the heroine of the series, which we previously discovered in Hawkeye. Also note that Echo launched Marvel Spotlight, a label dedicated to independent works from other Marvel universes aimed at a more mature audience.

But does this new broadcast format also mean the end of traditional post-credits scenes for Marvel productions? Fans can rest assured: the bonus sequence is indeed offered at the end of the fifth episode of the series and features a character well known to the public: Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin (played by Vincent D’Onofrio).

The boss at the helm of New York?

Left for dead at the end of Hawkeye, the latter makes his return to Echo. Not to settle the score with Maya, but to try to get his former protégé back under his wing. Will the young woman allow her mentor to persuade her, or has she finally freed herself from his influence?

At the end of a face-to-face meeting that foretold a bloody outcome, Echo used the power she inherited from her mother to enter the Kingpin’s mind. Deeply disturbed, the latter became angry and left the stage to return to New York.

The series’ post-credits scene sees Wilson Fisk in his private jet after a televised report on the upcoming New York municipal election. One of the presenters discusses the city’s many problems and profiles the desires of some voters. “outsider” and “Fighter” does not represent his candidacy.

King’s thoughtful look suggests that he is considering the challenge of being elected mayor of New York. And there’s no doubt that this scene, above all, heralds one of the main themes of the upcoming series Daredevil Born Again (airing in 2025), in which the man without fear, played by Charlie Cox, returns.
