It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Friday 12 January 2024 episode 838 [SPOILERS]

Friday, January 12, everything starts here…

David and Deva reunited

Arriving at the Institute, Mark apologizes to Jim for immediately accusing him of sending him the message. Then, he retains Thibault to get a further explanation of his actions. The latter admits that he tried to talk to him, but because he was not listening, he decided to act. She thinks that her father likes to play with boundaries a lot without realizing it. However, Mark confirms that he has no interest in putting students at risk and that all tests were safe. After everything is cleared up, Thibault goes to Miriel to give her the same explanations.

After that, the participants of the module gather in the amphitheater. Jim is glad Jasmine is still there. Mark and Clotilde introduce the students to the nature of the day’s test, called Road Trip: Using GPS coordinates, they will have to find a place, get there, and prepare. And that, without the help of their phone. On the ground, they will simply have the ingredients and a work plan. All equipment must be provided in advance and backpacked.

Meanwhile, Clotilda and Mark are preparing students’ work plans in a corner surrounded by nature. Mark checks on his colleague. She confides in him that the case with Joachim is not settled. Even though he knows they will never get back together, he wants to keep her in his life. Mark believes it would be better for him to distance himself from Clotilde at the end of their module to defuse the situation.

Deva and David are the first to arrive at the test site, followed shortly by Jimmy. They have about 2 hours to prepare their chosen recipe based on fish and seafood. At the end of the test, Clotilde and Mark specify that the four students who prepared the best dishes will have the opportunity to participate in the marathon cooking. A class that will be held next week at the institute.

After tasting everyone’s dishes, except for Jasmine and Penelope, who didn’t have time to finish, Clotilda and Mark announce the winners: Deva, David, Jimmy and Lionel. Students are then responsible for packing their belongings and then returning them to the institute.

David and Deva congratulate each other, happy to be reunited. Deva apologizes for her ex-mother because she really admires her strength. At these words, David instantly shuts down. As everyone prepares to return, David stays behind and seems to be having trouble closing his bag. He reassures Deva by saying that he will join them soon.

As the group moves on, David removes the box of drugs prescribed by the narcologist and leaves it on the ground. He begins to advance through the forest…

Salome is jealous of Carla

In The Swamp Dweller, Livio and Salome are jealous that Getan and Carla are spending time together in a sports session. If Livio is going to score points by cooking them a protein meal, Salome is a little squeamish.

Later, Salome confides in Anais about the jealousy she feels for Carla. Her best friend finds words to comfort her.

Back at the roommate, Salome finds Gaetan and Carla doing their stretching. Although he insists on joining them, Carla prefers to end the session. Gaetani alone cannot avoid jealousy in front of his girlfriend. He then explains to Salome that he felt flattered by her reaction to those who doubted the strength of his feelings for her. Salome again declares her love. they kiss

Anais can’t stand Berenice

At Double A, Anais summons Berenica to find out what caused her problems during her previous job. The first year admits that he was under pressure and that he didn’t appreciate that he was always yelling. Anais replies that this is how people talk to each other in the heat of the moment, but we shouldn’t take it personally. However, Berenia emphasizes that there was not the same atmosphere with Salome and Judas. Strained, Anais suggests Berenice not to return to the kitchen while she is in charge.

Later, Berenice finds herself with Malik during Lystrak’s course. While he concentrates on putting their plate away, she distracts him by constantly talking. Berenice explodes and tells him to shut up. Olivia intervenes to remind Berenica that she needs to learn to voice her disagreements without insults.
