Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Monday 15 January 2024 [SPOILERS]

Estelle cancels the wedding

Estelle has been nervous since the engagement night, which doesn’t escape Gilham, who tries to figure out if everything is okay. Claiming to be tired, the lawyer offers to cancel all their dates to spend the day with him, but Estelle declines because she has work. Although Gilham explains that money won’t be a problem once they’re married, Estelle takes it badly, stressing that she didn’t come to him because of it.

The young woman finally tells him about the comments Elizabeth made earlier in the evening. A shocked Gilham still tries to calm him down and then asks him to stop thinking about this nonsense. And to cheer him up, he points out that he has reservations at the Japanese restaurant everyone is talking about at the moment.

In fact, Guillem is angry. As soon as his partner left for work, he called Elizabeth and scolded her for throwing bile at his fiancée. Elizabeth reminds him that he has a bad habit of speaking his mind, before telling him in a friendly way that this marriage without a contract is a mistake. Guilham, who thinks his friend can’t stand other people’s happiness, says he’s pathetic. When Elizabeth replies that she is completely losing her mind, Guilham assures her that she is very sane before hanging up on her.

Meanwhile, Akim receives a call from Margot. Since he is still not going to give up his job in Los Angeles, the policeman refuses to take time to calmly think about a solution.

Not far from there, Estelle calls Karine to tell her about the massive anxiety attack she had that evening. In tears, the young woman wonders if she didn’t agree to this marriage for the wrong reasons. Karine then advises him to take time to think. According to him, there is nothing preventing him from postponing the wedding date.

Gilham, on the other hand, congratulates Johanna. On cloud nine, he even enlisted his niece’s help to find a suitable place. And suffice it to say, the lawyer sees the big picture.

At the end of the day, Margot finds Akim outside the police station, where she once again offers to follow him to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, this does not interest Akim at all, who has no desire to rest on his career. Margot tries to get him to change his mind, but he sticks to his guns.

At the same time, Estelle finds Guillem on the streets of the city and tells him that she no longer wants to get married. He is sure that his partner is speaking from emotion, he welcomes this news with a smile and tells him that they should not get married right away. As long as they’re together, that’s all that matters to him. However, Estelle thinks their story has moved too fast and needs time to think. He then returns home, leaving Gilham completely distraught.

The police are on JADE’s trail

Jade still can’t believe the store she worked at was robbed. He has the impression that life is trying to pay for his past as a robber. For Ludo, since the police are on the trail of the gang, he has nothing to fear. Despite everything, he advises her to stay hidden at the farm while the authorities wait for the real culprit.

At the police station, Elise tells Alex that the fingerprint taken at the motorcycle shop matches Jade. Without waiting, Alice and Alex go to the store and show Sandra a photo of Jade. Obviously, Sandra leads them to believe that she doesn’t know him. Once the police leave, the latter quickly calls Jade to let her know. Grateful, the young woman thanks him for covering her.

Not far from there, Commissioner Becker and his teams investigate. After Jade’s fingerprints are found at a motorcycle shop, the commissioner decides to issue a wanted notice, much to the dismay of Alex, who seems troubled by the turn of events. An attitude that Becker did not miss.

After a while, Alex arrives at the farm and tries to find out what happened. Jade, fearing that she has come to stop him, hides while Ludo tells the whole story. Unfortunately, Alex can’t do anything to help Jade, and she advises him to turn himself in to prove his innocence. Ludo then reminds him that he is wanted in several cases. If he does, he will be condemned. However, the policeman does not see a better solution.
