In a signed portrait from Variety, Kristen Stewart looks back on her career and briefly discusses her time in Twilight, the vampire saga that began just 15 years ago that made her a household name alongside Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
Since closing the Twilight chapter with the second installment of Revelations in 2012, the actor has shown himself in a number of more independent (but only), risky and committed roles. Robert Pattinson now sees the Saga story as something “disgusting”. Kristen Stewart Also looks at it from a completely new angle, albeit somewhat different.
“I can only see it now. I don’t think it necessarily started that way, but I also think that because I was a part of it, it worked out. It’s such a gay movie. I mean, me and Taylor, Rob… and it’s so hidden and it’s not normal. A Mormon woman wrote this book. It’s all about oppression, about wanting what will destroy you. It has a very gothic and gay bent which I love.“

After David Cronenberg’s Future Crimes (2022), the next phase of his career Kristen Stewart There will be Love Lies Bleeding, a sexy and suspenseful thriller directed by Rose Glass (Saint Maud) and produced by A24 Studios, directed by Cathy O’Brian (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Mandalorian).
The story follows Lou (Kristen Stewart), the gym manager, where she meets and falls in love with Jack (Cathy O’Brien), an aspiring bodybuilder who crosses town to Las Vegas to pursue his dream. But their love will lead to a violent sequence of events. The feature film will also star Jenna Malone (The Hunger Games), Ed Harris (Westworld) and Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist).
Love Lies bleeds There will be an advance screening at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20. A French release date has yet to be announced.
