The 5-1 away win extends the Nerazzurri’s lead at the top of the football table
Without particular difficulties, Inter beat Monza 5-1 this Saturday (13th), away from home, and maintained its isolated advantage in the Italian Championship in a match valid for the 20th round of the competition. Calhanoglu and Lautaro Martínez were the protagonists of the match, with two goals each. Marcus Thuram also scored the other goal for the team led by coach Simone Inzaghi. Pessina, however, scored the home team’s only goal from a penalty.
In this way, Inter reached 51 points in Calcio and opened a five-point lead over second-placed Juventus. The Old Lady, however, is still in play in this 20th round and can reduce Inter’s “fat”.
However, Monza remains with the same 25 points and drops to 11th place.
