Marcos Braz and Bruno Spindel will travel to Spain and Italy to try to free Luiz Henrique and Matías Viña
After finally reaching an agreement for the purchase of midfielder De La Cruz, Flamengo is still looking for their second reinforcement of the season. And the negotiation will be the old fashioned way. This is because directors Marcos Braz and Bruno Spindel have planned a trip to Spain for this Sunday. The objective is to continue negotiations for striker Luiz Henrique from Real Betis.
Flamengo will try to agree a loan with fixed economic rights. The Gávea club wants to pay an initial one-year fee, which would be deducted from a future purchase, should Rubro-Negro choose to sign on a permanent basis. Real Betis remains reluctant against this business model.
The strategy of going directly to the club to negotiate is the same one that Flamengo used to sign other players such as Gabigol, Pedro and Thiago Maia. After all, they were all purchased after the loans expired. On the other hand, Betis continues to put its foot down and only wants to free the player through a sale.
Flamengo also tries Matías Viña
After the visit to Spain, the two directors still have to visit Italy, to continue the negotiation for Matías Viña. The left back belongs to Roma, who are asking for 53 million reals to release him. Flamengo’s first offer only reached R$31 million.
Rubro-Negro will not extend the rope on the figures requested by Roma, but will increase its value compared to the initial proposal to try to sign him. In fact, with Viña everything is fine in terms of contractual values and times.
