The cities with the fewest inhabitants in Brazil

The ten municipalities with the smallest populations in the country have been revealed after the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) published data from the 2022 demographic census.

The municipality of Serra da Saudade, in Minas Gerais, is the least populous in Brazil, with only 833 inhabitants and its extension is 335.6 km².
