The day the Earth exploded It will be the fourth feature film in the franchise produced for the big screen, but the first completely animated (i.e. without the presence of real people).
Production of the new film was announced in 2021. The screenplay is written by Kevin Costello (Tom and Jerry: The Movie).
Eric Bauza (Looney Tunes cartoons), in turn, is the English voice of both Porky and Daffy Duck. The cast also includes Candi Milo as Petunia Pig and Peter MacNicol as the alien invader.
It is scheduled to debut in the United States in fall 2024 in the Northern Hemisphere. This means it is expected to arrive in the country between September and November this year.
