Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Tuesday, January 23, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Margot leaves the BGL office

Distraught by her uncle’s death, Johanna gives an interview to Midi Libre. Johanna then tells Mark that Gilham was like a father to her. Outraged by the preferential treatment Officer Alam is receiving, but convinced above all else that this is sorted, she informs him that she intends to become a civil party in order to be as close to the investigation as possible. He also assures her that he is going to shed light on Gilham’s death.

In turn, Akim finds Margo on the beach and confides in her that he doesn’t know how he’s going to live with a man’s death on his conscience. So Margot reminds him that he was defending himself in self-defense and that he has nothing to blame. Besides, if something happened to him, he would never get over it. While he’s trying to figure out when he’s leaving for the United States, Margot tells him she’s not going anymore. Indeed, the young woman could not see herself falling into such an ordeal. Confident Margot declares that she loves him. In his eyes, the most important thing is that they are together. They reconciled, the couple was kissing.

Estelle, on the other hand, feels that she is living in a nightmare. If he blames himself terribly for Gilham’s death, the masseuse also feels guilty for dragging Akim into the whole affair.

Later Manu tries to pacify Akim. Indeed, Captain Leon believes that his colleague reacted in self-defense. It is also certain that it will return to its functions in the shortest possible time. Akim thanks him for his support.

In the office, Margot reads an article in Le Midi Libre about Guillem’s death. Very irritated by Johanna’s words, he goes to his office to get an explanation. Johanna then explains to him that she has serious doubts about what happened. Knowing Akim, Margot makes him realize that if he makes a mistake, he will take the consequences. The tone quickly rises and Johanna declares that she just wants to explore all the hypotheses without complacency. She specifies that if that was the case, Akim would be behind bars by now.

Claudine, overhearing their exchange, later criticizes Margot for acting aggressively towards Johanna. Although she has no opinion on the subject, Claudine nevertheless realizes that the firm cannot operate in such an atmosphere. If he wants to continue working here, he needs to put Margot’s personal feelings aside and be more professional. Annoyed, Margo declares that she will not set foot in the office again before leaving the place in anger…

Meanwhile, Elizabeth is in tears as she struggles to get over Guilham’s death. Moved, she confides in Allen how much she blames herself for not being able to protect him. In fact, he had a bad feeling that he was putting himself in danger one way or another with Estelle.

Jade is guilty

In the morning, Alice and Alex go to the motorcycle shop to ask about Sandra. While he admits that Jade has been one of his co-workers for a few months, Sandra, on the other hand, tricks the police into thinking that she has been on sick leave for a week.

A worried Sandra waits for the police to leave to warn Jade. Although the young woman says she’s sorry for getting involved in this, Sandra emphasizes that it’s up to her before specifying that she accepts responsibility. When forced to give the address, Sandra asks him to be careful. Jade then explains that he’s been hiding for a while and that they won’t find him, then thanks him for everything he’s done for her before hanging up on her.

Guilt-ridden, Jade wonders if she’d be better off going to the police. Really, Sandra and Ludo shouldn’t be in trouble because of him. However, Ludo refuses, especially since he is sure that Alex will eventually find the real people responsible for the theft. So he advises her to wait before making a decision.

Meanwhile, Alex and Elise search Jade’s apartment. Back at the police station, the police informed Commissioner Berker that the young woman had already left. Since there are many elements against him, the commissioner orders them to continue the investigation.

Later, Alex gets a call from Belmont, a port employee who discovered a suspicious container bound for Nigeria. A few days earlier, two men had loaded a motorcycle inside.
