Tom Ellis: Netflix’s Lucifer Finds Role in Sulfur Series

He became famous for his role as Lucifer Morningstar in the eponymous series, which Netflix saved from cancellation. In 2021, after the end of the adventure in the skin of a fallen angel, Tom Ellis continued filming, for slightly different roles. Today we learned that he has just joined Season 2 of Tell Me Lies, a Hulu production available in France on Disney+.

Tell Me Lies follows a toxic relationship over eight years between a student couple who met in college. Prohibited for people under 16 on the platform, this series regularly highlights olé olé scenes.

intimidating person

Tom Ellis will play a college professor named Oliver in this second season. He is presented as an intimidating and difficult person who is disliked by all students. He is married to Marianne (Gabriella Pescioni), Lucy’s teacher. Her character and her influence on the students will have chaotic consequences…

The British actor’s involvement in the Tell Me Lies casting is no coincidence, as he is married to his showrunner, Megan Oppenheimer. Tom Ellis will also star in his other project called Second Wife, which will hit our screens this year. This drama series follows the ups and downs of a blended family. She will answer Emma Roberts.

Available on Disney+

Along with those two series, Tom Ellis will also be cast this year in Washington Black, which follows an 11-year-old black boy in the 19th century who then works on a sugar plantation in Barbados. After witnessing a shocking death, his life is in danger and he must escape.

These three projects have in common that they are produced by the Hulu platform and will therefore be visible on Disney+ in France.
