Australian rock band AC/DC will perform four shows in Brazil in September. Two of them will be at Rock in Rio, where the group has already played previously, in the first edition of the festival.
The group of guitarist Angus Young and singer Brian Johnson also played for two days on that occasion, in January 1985, and their participation would have been a way to pay homage to the almost 40-year history of the event, saving one of the main attractions of the old rock city.
Furthermore, the band will do two performances in Sao Paulo, at the Morumbis Stadium.
The news was anticipated by Lauro Jardim’s article in the newspaper O Globo, but so far none of the shows have been officially confirmed.
