‘Los Serrano’: Is there going to be a reunion of the series? That suggests Fran Perea

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the successful series.

It seems that we will hear again that “On a station platform, under the scorching sun, you were talking about a skyscraper in the New York sky…” Or well, with the refrain of “One plus one equals seven” we will settle .

The latest publication of the actor Fran Perea has generated great expectation. In the video, a WhatsApp group called “Family Serrano” is shown. In it, Perea sends an audio warning that twenty years have passed, and that he has a proposal to make. Then the rest of the family members begin to answer. After 20 years we still don’t know how to add, but we do have family and friends who join the trip. Are you coming?the also singer has written together with the screenshot of that family group.

Will we finally see a reunion of one of the most beloved families in Spanish fiction? Of course there are fans who want to see Resines, Belén Rueda, Perea and company.

‘Los Serrano’ premiered on Tele5 in April 2003. The story began with the wedding of Diego (Antonio Resines) and Lucía (Belén Rueda). Diego brought his three children to the marriage: Marcos, whom Perea gave life to, Guille (Víctor Elías) and Curro (Jorge Jurado). On her part, Lucía, who was a divorced woman, took her two daughters with her, Eva (Verónica Sánchez) and María Teresa alias Teté (Natalia Sánchez). After the wedding, everyone will have to learn to live together under the same roof, which will not be easy given the differences between Diego’s children and Lucía’s. Although from love to hate, you know, there is a step.

Everything happened to the new family and their relatives during the seasons that included the participation of other actors and actresses such as Nuria González, Antonio Molero, Alejo Sauras, Julia Gutiérrez Caba, Alexandra Jiménez, Elsa Pataky, Goizalde Núñez, and many others.

The series was a resounding success that every week broke audience records for Tele 5, bringing together people of all ages among its audience. From there came the group Santa Justa Klan, unforgettable secondary characters like Boliche, Fiti or Lourditas.

Finally ‘Los Serrano’ ended with its eighth season in 2008, being one of the most controversial endings on television. The outcome was that everything was a dream of Resines on his wedding night, that is, a return to the first chapter, but somewhat different: logically the children had grown up, but everything was normalized. That is why it continues to give a lot to talk about fifteen years after its broadcast ended.
