Traumas are part of life and how we deal with them says a lot about us. In the case of Choi Yi-jae (Seo In-guk), his ex-girlfriend wants nothing to do with him and left, he has been unemployed for a long time and also suffered a Bitcoin scam that made him lose his remaining savings… Therefore, haunted by failure and immersed in social pressure to succeed, he decides to end his life, believing that this would put an end to all the suffering he was going through.
However, after dying prematurely, Death (Park So-dam) appears before him to chat: she is shocked by his audacity in visiting her earlier than expected and will punish him for such audacity. Trapped, Yi-jae must now die 12 more times – in different bodies and for different reasons – as punishment for his suicide.
Death, however, makes a deal with him: if Yi-jae manages to survive at least one of these twelve lives, he will be allowed to continue living it like someone else, since he hated his own so much. She simply didn’t know that to stop death from doing her job, she would have to find herself in a dozen difficult situations, repeatedly struggling to survive when all she wanted was a little peace.
The miniseries has 8 episodes, each lasting an average of one hour, and is available on the Prime Video streaming system. The cast also includes names like Kim Ji-hoon, Choi Siwon, Sung Hoon, Kim Kang-hoon, Lee Jae-wook and more.
