Check out everything that arrived on HBO Max this week, from new episodes of series and soap operas to animated films
The last week of January was a relatively calm one for HBO Max, which saw almost no new titles debut on the service. On the other hand, some major series and soap operas in the streaming continued to receive new episodes, which must have ensured the presence of subscribers on the platform even with the scarcity of news.

Among the productions that have gained new chapters is True Detective: Nightland, the fourth season of the acclaimed crime thriller anthology, released five years after the third season. So far well received by the public, it accompanies detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) in an investigation that tries to find eight missing workers from a research station in Alaska.
Who also received new episodes this week was Love on the islanda 2021 Turkish soap opera that has been re-edited and extended to be released on HBO Max. With 75 episodes already available and 8 more on the way, it follows in the footsteps of two very different young people, Haziran (Ayça Aysin Turan) and Poyraz (Alp Navruz ), when from enemies they become lovers.
Finally, what also attracted attention this week on the platform and entered the top 10 of streaming was the film Scooby-Doo and the Curse of the Thirteenth Ghost. Continuation of the drawing The 13 ghosts of Scooby-Doofrom 1985, the animation concludes the unfinished plot and has everything to please children, but also adults who miss the production.
