Bradley Cooper says famous director made fun of his Oscar nominations

Bradley Cooper revealed that a famous film director has already made fun of him because of the seven nominations for the Oscar. In conversation on the podcast SmartLess (via NME), the actor recalled the situation that happened during the A Star is Born (2018), film he starred with Lady Gaga.

Cooper received three nominations for Oscar for the feature, in addition to already having four other nominations throughout his career. During a party, the actor recalled meeting a director who mocked his nominations while he was accompanied by another actress.

“What kind of world do we live in where you have seven nominations and she only has three?,” said the director to Cooper. “I was like, ‘Man, why are you such an asshole?’ I’ll never forget that, fuck you,” said the actor.
