Tuesday, February 6, tomorrow belongs to us…
Gilles loses his temper
The day before, Gilles was found unconscious by the police in a warehouse where he had met Cecil’s kidnappers to pay the ransom. Taken to hospital, Gilles escaped with cracked ribs and bruises. Marianna and Chloe are at his bedside. When he saw how dangerous the kidnapper was, Gilles became even more afraid for his fiancée’s life.
After a while Karim comes to question her. Gilles tells him how the kidnappers contacted him through Polaroid photos. He also talks about meeting one of them in the hangar. When Gilles refused to leave without Cecile, the kidnapper jumped on him and beat him. Gilles collapsed, then got up to run to the back of the building. The kidnapper caught him. Then there is the black hole.
Gilles describes the kidnapper as a man shorter than him, in his fifties, with a distorted voice. Karim shows her a photo of Christian Ofri, Cecile’s ex-husband. Gilles confirms that he saw her while in Lille. Christian warned him against Cecil’s greed. Finally, Gilles adds that he saw an old blue minivan in the hangar.
Meanwhile, PTS is reading in the warehouse. At the police station, Damien informs Karim and Roxanne that they found the PMU ticket, which allowed him to return to the tobacconist’s shop, only to discover that a certain Aymeric Jonot bought it with his credit card. The latter has a blue minibus from the 2000s, which Roxanne is tasked with tracking down. Shortly after, Nordin and Sarah were arrested.
Aymeric was then interrogated by Karim and Sarah. He claims his innocence, denying the information of Cecil and Gilles. He claims that he was in a bar with friends and placed bets as an alibi. However, he is arrested because there is too much evidence against him, starting with his car. Sara suspects him that he was still an accomplice of the kidnappers, who would use part of the ransom for horse racing.
In turn, Gilles signs the documents authorizing his discharge from the hospital. The lady in the living room gives him the envelope she left in the morning. Opening it, Gilles discovers a new photograph of Cecil. On the back is written: “€50,000 gone in 48 hours. Don’t say a word to the cops or he’ll die”.
In the evening, Gilles goes to Sylvain to ask for his help with 50,000 euros. In his eyes, this is Cecil’s only chance to survive. But Sylvain prefers to let the police do their thing and suggests that Cecil may have staged his own kidnapping. After that, Gilles allows himself to be carried away by anger. He searches for Sylvain’s chest, destroys everything in his path, then physically attacks him by choking him. Kristel intervenes and manages to separate them. While Sylvain collapses on the couch to catch her breath, Gilles runs off…
Damien and Violet’s brother arrives on the set
At the school entrance, Jack confides in Ryan that he surprised Filipina in the company of a much younger man with a spoon. He even took a photo. When Violet joins them, Ryan repeats to her what her boyfriend just told her. The young girl is not the least bit shocked. He also asks to see the photo that Jack took.
However, Violet goes to the police station to talk to Damien. At the same time, Roxani joins them in the rest room and is interested in their conversation. Violet shows them a photo that Jack took. Damien immediately recognizes the man next to his mother: it’s his brother, Charles.
Damien goes to his mother to talk about it. She claims that she intended to warn him about the return of Charles, who arrived on set the day before without warning. Charles then appears, happy to have found his brother, and expresses his desire to see his sister, whom he names Alice. Damien corrects him, rather cautiously, pointing out that they found their sister months ago and that Charles never texted. The latter excuses himself by saying that he had problems in Greece, where he almost lost his business due to a fire. But it’s there to make up for lost time.
Returning home, Damien confides in Audrey. He can’t stand that his brother acts as if nothing happened when they haven’t seen each other for 15 years. It revives old resentments. Indeed, when Violet disappeared, Damien felt responsible, and Charles became the beloved child. Then the family exploded. Their father went all over the world in search of Violet. No one knows where he is or if he is alive. Audrey comforts her husband and reminds him that today he has his own family to support him.
In the evening, Philippin, Damien, Violet and Charles meet at Spon’s for dinner. Charles – who continues to call Violet Alice until he recovers – discovers that she hasn’t changed. When the bill is brought in, Charles insists on payment.
Samuel says goodbye to Victoire
At the hospital, Soraya attends the rehabilitation sessions of Adeline, who has woken up from a coma. Victoria comes to check on him. He takes the opportunity to apologize for everything that happened. Adeline says it’s ancient history. He even acquitted Samuel by giving a statement to the police. Victoria thanks him. At the same time, she receives a message from Samuel asking to see her.
Victoire finds Samuel, who announces that evening he is leaving for the Paris region, where he will eventually seek rehab. He explains that he’s pulling away to protect her because he can’t take her pain anymore. Victoria promises him that she will really take care of him. The two exes kiss, then say goodbye.
A little later, William walks Samuel to his car. The latter thanks him for his unwavering support. He then turns to take one last look at Willa.
In the evening, Victoire hopes that Aaron and Lisa will cheer her up. In fact, they cooked a great dinner and toasted with champagne.
