Those who subscribe to YouTube TV will be able to enjoy even higher quality in the use of the content available on the platform. Google will allow users of the service to configure the image in a more powerful version with 1080p resolution.
This new configuration, called 1080p improved (enhanced), enhances existing 1080p60 resolution with an upgraded bitrate. The first person who noticed this new feature mentioned it on the online forum Reddit and soon after Google confirmed the information Dedicate onself: “The Enhanced 1080p setting offers the highest video quality,” the company said.
Reddit users who report already having access to 1080p Enhanced also clarify that the resolution is available for all channels with 1080p60 resolution, such as Paramount and Syfy.
The 1080p Enhanced option also includes the YouTube Premium service, a measure that improves video quality for subscribers on the company’s original platform.
