A HBO is developing a new spin-off of game of Thrones. The series will be about Aegon Targaryen with a script by Mattson Tomlin, the website The Hollywood Reporter revealed.
Aegon’s Conquest will tell the story of the bloody and brutal conquest of Westeros by the Targaryens. The story follows Aegon Targaryen, who conquered the continent of Westeros with his sister wives, Rhaenys and Visenya, and their dragons. Aegon successfully unified six of the Seven Kingdoms in just two years, with only Dorne able to resist.
It is worth noting that from the conclusion of Game of Thrones As of 2019, many prequels (and an idea for a sequel) have been put into development and some are considered dormant, although HBO prefers not to say that any option is completely off the table as there is always the possibility of a promising turning point. the idea could be developed by a different writer.
Filming is expected to begin later this year.
